excellent shot! I love the contrast and the way the subject has been isolated by the shallow depth of field. Great pose too - I wonder what he is thinking about.. ?

Thanks Owen. That question haunted me when I saw him through the view finder. I felt a moment of sadness at that time. I have always felt that connection with the subject during the brief moment when the shutter moves.... Crazy perhaps :-)

That is an amazing picture. When you took it, did you feel like you were violating him or stealing from him or like you were kindred to him, or was it purely professional.. . Just surfed in and just curious as to what goes through the mind of the photographer.. Penny here for your thoughts.

I have this feeling of connection with my subject when I press the shutter. It is not so much as of stealing or violating but more of sharing the pain or joy. This is the main motivation for me to keep taking more pictures. So I look at it more in a humanistic way rather than professional. Thank you very much for visiting and keeping doing so :-)
