No room, no room, the boat is too small. Loaded with my gold paddy, the boat is full. Across the rain-sky clouds heave to and fro, On the bare river-bank, I remain alone - What had has gone: the golden boat took all.
This is another favorite of mine from amongst your work. I love its stillness even as it holds potential for movement, if that makes any sense. My responses to your photos are so often emotional rather than based on detached critical analysis. It can be difficult to articulate why I enjoy something other than to simply say that I do so, very much. :0)
Good shot... there's precious little in it, which makes the things that are so much more interesting to me. And, with the sky/haze reflecting off the water like that, it seems like it'd be awfully difficult to properly expose the boat on shore, which you've done quite well.

Two very strange things come to my mind:
Firstly, I once wrote a poem called "Seeing The World Through My Eyes".

Secondly, I once took a picture very similar to this one, and wrote an associated poem, called "Contrast".

Life is strange sometimes.
