That Anonymous poster was quite right. I want to be there.
Rivi, I'm thinking just for this exactly moment, that your blog is neccesary for us, old and cinic western europeans. You have discovered to my eyesa peaceful place, lighting.
Good-bye, my love. Good-bye, my heart. Good-bye to all our dreams.
When I came for you on the beach that night and bid you follow me I needed you to take my hand, to come and rescue me.
But you could not cross through space and time though you ran with all your might. I slipped away, not by my will, a compelling force I could not fight.
It forces me to run and run toward some elusive goal down a path I have not chosen and one I truly loathe.
I wonder when this race will end and if I will survive; it’s robbed me of important things and my joy, my hope in life.
But, I should never have come to you asking for what could not be. Forgive me, my love, for that selfish act; God, erase the pain in his memory of me.

I love the serenity of the photo, and the poetry of its title.
